New 2013 show reel is now out! I really am happy with how this reel looks compared to last year and hope it can prove that I am one of the top motion graphic designers in the Chicago area. Now only 8 days until I am 100% full time freelance! ENJOY!!
You can now pick up my new Cinema 4D template today over on videohive. This detailed file looks a lot more complicated than it actually took to figure out how I was going to achieve this effect; which I think is a win-win. Also the long light streaks in the video are custom made, not from the Optical Flares plugin incase you were wondering. Enjoy!!
Above you see a still from my new motion graphic background which a good chunk of it was made using Cinema 4D. Also below here you can find the sample video of the animation. Originally I had planned to make something like this totally in After Effects but after about 10 minutes I quickly realized that the amount of detail I needed to make this happen (with like trapcode form) would be way to complicated for after effects to still be responsive. So I headed over to Cinema 4D to see if I could figure out how to do it in there. I was actually able to produce the general shape relatively quickly but having the lines animate organically was a little bit of a challenge for me. Anyways if you are interested in picking up this elegant background head over to videohive today!
Heres some preview animation of my new Cinema4D template called “Sliced Inside and Out.” I really enjoyed integrating C4D and After Effects. I added some small white flourishes that appear during the animation that I feel adds a lot of nice subtle detail in the piece. You can pick up the template today on videohive today!
