Don’t blend in; instead, clash with your environment. Stand out. Be different. That’s what will draw attention to your ideas. Nothing has intrinsic attention-grabbing power by itself. The power lies in how much something stands out from its context.

Butlerm’s New T-Shirt Store

Just finished up the new T-shirt store for butlerm.com.  It features a new circle look on the shirts instead of just the green “M” and the back of the shirt features the classic “Enjoy!” which is commonly used in the blog.  The new Shirt store is through spreadshirt.com which has been great for creating and making shirts!  Shirts are available for $20 each and you can check them out here: http://butlerm.spreadshirt.com

Tumblr Theme - My experience

I spent a good part of the past 5 days recoding, editing, adding, and modifying my html and css thumblr theme so it could be made available to everyone if they were interested in it.  So since I am such a big fan of envato and there sites I decided to upload my theme over on themeforest.net.  Luckily they were able check out my theme and get back to me in only about 9 hours(which is about 10 times faster than on videohive).  Unfortunately my theme did not get accepted there so I had to think of what I could possibly do with this theme(which I called “The Modern Butler”) so that my 30 or so hours I spent creating the theme wouldn’t go to waist.

Best bet I could see would be to submit it over here on tumblr as a free theme.  So just a few minutes ago I had submitted my theme over to tumblr in hopes that it will be posted on the tumblr theme garden.  I am pretty sure this is one of the most determined/inspired weeks designing and creating I have had in a while to let it all just go down the drain if tumblr doesn’t accept my theme.  So that is where my story leaves off currently… I plan on giving an update once tumblr(hopefully) gets back to me.  Until then, Enjoy your week.
